Revival of the 'Friendship Stop'
Wheatfields Primary School replaced and cleaned their 'friendship stop' bench- designed for children to go when they don't have a friend to play with- and made it more accessible in bad weather conditions.
Students at Woodrush High School set up a project to provide positive activities and provisions for young people living in their local community. They led a campaign to make the local youth centre a part of the school, suported by their local Parish Council, to prevent its permanent closure.
School councillors set up an eco project and worked on a number of areas where their school could use less electricity, recycle more and encourage use of compost bins, which produce was then used for planting of fruit and vegetable.
