For every student in the QKS community to have a voice that is heard. For every student to be able to express their ideas and know they can make a difference.

Top tips

  1. Communication, perseverance, commintment and energy. Ensure that all members of the community are involved students, staff, parents and governors.

To raise the profile of the Queen Katherine School council within the community. This involved getting reps, gaining staff support and using a core project to initial direction.

We did this through assemblies, presentations at staff meetings,  holding meetings away from school and creating a joint school council with Sandgate School.
